This is how our coconut litter composting toilet works
Our BioTioo fiber packs are made from the outer shell of the coconut, a by-product of food production.
These natural coconut fibers can absorb six times their own weight in moisture, making them ideal for use in composting toilets. In the solids container, they selectively draw moisture from the compost. This keeps the material dry, odorless, and allows for even pre-composting.
Which litter for which variant?
For the bag method, you can use any bedding material such as sawdust or other dry, absorbent materials. For the compost method, we recommend coconut fibers or plant fibers, as they retain more moisture, don't clump, and allow for natural pre-composting.
Application of the fiber packs
Simply pour the fibers into the solids container , then evenly add about 400 ml of water and stir briefly. The toilet is immediately ready for use.
