60-day voluntary return policy ("Satisfaction Promise")

2. Subject matter and distinction from statutory rights


In addition to the statutory rights (especially the right of withdrawal and warranty rights), we grant consumers a voluntary 60-day return policy.


The statutory rights in case of defects exist free of charge and are not limited by this voluntary right of return. 


This voluntary right of return is a goodwill gesture and applies exclusively under the following conditions.


3. Who is entitled / Scope


Only consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB (B2C) are entitled. Entrepreneurs within the meaning of § 14 BGB (especially dealers/resellers) are excluded. 


The voluntary right of return applies only to orders with a delivery address within the European Union (EU). For deliveries outside the EU, it only applies if we expressly confirm this in writing.


4. Start and end of the period


The 60-day period begins on the day of delivery, i.e. the day on which the goods were taken into possession by the customer or a person authorized to receive on their behalf.


To meet the deadline, it is sufficient that the declaration to exercise the voluntary right of return is received by us in text form (e.g. e-mail) within 60 days.


5. Procedure for exercising the right (process)


  1. Please contact our customer service in text form (e.g. e-mail) within the 60-day period at [Kontakt] with the order number and a brief note that you wish to exercise the voluntary right of return.
  2. We will then inform you of the further procedure (in particular return address and, if applicable, RMA instructions).
  3. The return must be sent to us within 14 days after our confirmation of receipt (the decisive factor is the handover to the shipping company).



Note: These process requirements apply only to the voluntary right of return. The statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected.


6. Conditions of return (condition of the goods)


The voluntary right of return only exists if:


  • the goods have been used as intended and handled properly,
  • the goods are in functional condition,
  • the goods are returned completely (including accessories, components, cables, fastening material, instructions, if applicable original packaging, if available),
  • no reasons according to item 7 exist.



7. Exclusion reasons / reservation of rejection


The voluntary right of return does not apply in the following cases:


  • damage due to improper use, misuse or use contrary to operating/assembly instructions,
  • fall, breakage, force or other damage after transfer of risk,
  • unauthorized modifications, alterations, repair attempts or interventions by third parties,
  • missing essential components/accessories,
  • a condition that makes return unreasonable for hygiene or safety reasons, especially in case of heavy soiling or contamination,
  • other excessive wear that goes beyond a mere short test use.


In these cases, we reserve the right to refuse acceptance within the scope of the voluntary return policy or to return the goods to the customer against reimbursement of the return shipping costs.


8. Reduction in value / preparation effort


Light, usual signs of use from a short test use are harmless.


However, if the condition of the returned goods leads to a reduction in value (e.g., heavy signs of use, missing parts, significant cleaning/preparation effort), we reserve the right to reduce the refund accordingly. The standard is the objective depreciation or the necessary preparation effort.


9. Return shipping costs and other costs


The customer bears the immediate costs of return shipping within the scope of this voluntary return policy, unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.


Only the purchase price paid for the goods will be refunded, but not:


  • Costs for express/special shipping (if offered),
  • Costs for assembly, disassembly, or installation services by third parties,
  • Consumables or wear parts, if purchased separately.


 

10. Refund

 

After receipt and inspection of the goods, the refund will be made via the originally used payment method.

The refund will be made within 14 days after completion of the inspection; we are entitled to withhold the repayment until receipt of the goods and completion of the inspection.

 

11. Relationship to the statutory right of withdrawal (14 days)

 

If you conclude a purchase contract as a consumer via distance selling, you may have a statutory right of withdrawal. The statutory consequences of withdrawal (in particular reversal and refunds) apply independently of this voluntary return policy. 


12. Provision in text form (recommended if "guarantee" is advertised)



If we refer to this voluntary return policy as a "guarantee" in communication or advertise it as such, we will provide these conditions to the customer in text form (e.g., by email/PDF) at the latest upon delivery.
