This is how our compost toilet coconut litter works

Our BioTioo FibrePacks are made from the outer shell of the coconut, a by-product of food production.
These natural coconut fibres can absorb six times their own weight in moisture, making them ideal for use in the composting toilet. In the solid waste container, they specifically draw moisture from the mass. This keeps the material dry, odourless, and allows it to pre-compost evenly.

Which litter for which type?

With the bag version, you can use any kind of litter material such as sawdust or other dry, absorbent materials. For the compost version, we recommend coconut fibers or plant fibers, as they bind more moisture, do not clump, and allow for natural pre-composting.

Application of the FiberPacks

Simply fill the fibres into the solid waste container, then pour about 400 ml of water evenly over it and stir briefly. The toilet is ready for use immediately.
