Dry separation toilet with manual stirring mechanism. You use the same separation principle, the same urine tank, and the same basic design, but operate it by hand.
Suitable for you if you want the stirring mechanism version but can do without motor control.
BioTioo 2.0 RL-M
Dry separation toilet with agitator and motor for automatic mixing. The motor handles the mixing in the solid waste container after the lid is closed. If you don’t want to use electricity or something fails while on the go, you can still operate it manually with the crank.
Suitable for you if you travel regularly, stay off-grid for extended periods, or if two people use the toilet for several days in a row.
BioTioo 2.0 in bag mode
The BioTioo system can also be used as a simple dry separation toilet with a bag. In this mode, solids end up in a bag in the solid waste container and are disposed of after a short period of use. This mode is simple but does not offer the comfort advantage for which BioTioo was primarily developed.
The bag mode is especially suitable as an entry-level option, backup operation, or for infrequent use. The advantage: You can gradually upgrade later without having to buy the entire system anew.

The bag mode
In bag mode, you manually cover the solids with litter after use. This mode is simple, requires no stirring mechanism, and is suitable for short periods of use.
The mixing mechanism version
In the version with a stirring mechanism, the material is evenly distributed in the solid waste container. This option is the better choice if you use BioTioo regularly, are on the road for extended periods, or want to reduce manual refilling.
Important difference: Every BioTioo composting toilet is a dry separation toilet with a stirring mechanism. But not every dry separation toilet is automatically a composting toilet.
