Emptying is also straightforward: the solid waste container only needs to be emptied after 20 to 30 uses, depending on usage – this saves time and protects nature. Our compost toilet has been equipped with an ergonomically shaped seat that is perfectly tailored to the needs of children and girls. The seat is designed so that the dividing ridge is positioned high up, ensuring a clear and clean separation of urine and solid waste. The base in the middle deliberately prevents touching the dividing ridge. Even with smaller body sizes, such as children or girls, the system works perfectly. This thoughtful shape prevents liquids from running backward, thus avoiding unpleasant odors.

Which dry toilet fits best in my garden?
Before you decide on a garden toilet, you should consider the special requirements that come with use in a garden or forest kindergarten. With the BioTioo, you are always flexible thanks to its modular system – you do not have to choose a final solution, as it can be upgraded or downgraded at any time.
The BioTioo can be used both as a simple dry separation toilet and as an advanced composting toilet. This means you can start with the bag version and later upgrade to the composting toilet with a stirring mechanism and longer emptying intervals if your needs grow. This modular approach ensures that you can adjust the toilet at any time without needing all the features from the start.
Furthermore, you increase the comfort and ease of use of your garden toilet if it is easy to place and empty. The simpler the maintenance, the more pleasant the use – so you can enjoy your composting toilet in the long term without having to worry about complicated installations or frequent upkeep.
A toilet that protects the forest
Unlike many other garden toilets, such as chemical toilets, the BioTioo works completely without chemicals. This means: no harmful substances that require special care during disposal, and no chemicals that should come into contact with the skin.
Most toilets often require complicated disposal by truck or special disposal stations, as their chemical contents must not enter the groundwater or soil.
With the BioTioo, however, the solid waste can simply and safely be disposed of in the regular rubbish or used on a separate compost heap – completely without toxic additives.
Compared to chemical toilets, the BioTioo is also much easier to clean and maintain. By separating the waste, handling remains clean and hygienic. The disposal of solid waste is simply done in the regular rubbish or on the home compost – without toxic additives.
No limitation by the urine tank – maximum freedom with external connection
The UTA (urine tank connection) is a practical addition to our toilet solutions and offers extra flexibility, especially in places like forest kindergartens and gardens. While the BioTioo already works smoothly without external connections, the UTA can greatly increase convenience when emptying urine.
Especially in a kindergarten or forest kindergarten, where children and caregivers spend the whole day outside, the urine tank can fill up faster. With the UTA, the urine is automatically directed into an external tank or a larger collection system, so the internal container needs to be emptied less often. This means less effort and longer use before emptying is necessary.
But don’t worry: the UTA is completely optional. If you prefer a simpler solution, you can use the BioTioo without the UTA and empty the urine container manually. This is especially ideal for smaller forest kindergartens or use in the garden. However, if the need grows, you can add the UTA at any time and enjoy even more independence.
Whether you choose the version with or without the UTA is entirely up to you. This way, you can flexibly adapt your toilet to your needs in the kindergarten, forest kindergarten, or garden.
